In 2026, Kathy Warren celebrates an impressive milestone: 15 years at iPS | Nautech. Over the years, both the organisation and Kathy herself have transformed significantly. Her story highlights adaptability, perseverance, and a deep appreciation for the people she works with.

From young mother to experienced professional

When Kathy joined Nautech in 2011, she worked 20 hours a week while raising two young daughters. Today she works 30 hours, and her girls are now 22 and 19. Despite her long tenure, Kathy still feels like she’s learning every day: “I’m still learning every day. Always evolving, just like the iPS globally.”

Navigating big changes

One of the most notable shifts Kathy experienced was the transition from Nautech to iPS | Nautech. Learning a completely new way of working, especially during lockdown, was no small challenge. “It was quite challenging adapting to a new system and working via Teams, but in the end it made us stronger.”

People make the difference

Above all, Kathy values the human side of her job. “The thing I enjoy most about working at iPS is the people. My colleagues are always helpful and welcoming when I visit the head office in the Netherlands. Working with so many nationalities makes collaboration easy, fun, and never dull.”

A proud career moment

Among her achievements, one moment shines brightest: She passed her accounting exams during a particularly difficult time in her life, a milestone that underscores her determination and strength.

A career filled with memorable experiences

Kathy looks back fondly on the opportunities iPS has brought her. “I’ve visited the Netherlands about nine times, failed at skiing but excelled at après-ski, travelled to Ibiza with the company, passed exams, and become completely paperless!” These moments reflect not just professional growth but also unforgettable personal experiences.

Life outside of work

When she’s not working, Kathy knows how to enjoy life. She loves a long, leisurely lunch with great company, and a refreshing Aperol.

She also cherishes time with her two daughters, enjoys badminton, beach days, sea swimming and getting lost in a good book.

A steady and positive force within iPS

After 15 years, Kathy has become much more than a colleague, she is a symbol of loyalty, growth, and connection. Her journey shows what’s possible when you embrace change, stay resilient, and work with joy.

Congratulations, Kathy, on 15 incredible years, and on to many more!
